ICU RN (Part-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. It is ideal for nurses with 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience interested in advancing into critical care. Responsibilities include: Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to nursing standards. Promoting patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, home care, and medication administration. Participating in safety, quality, and compliance activities, and engaging in professional development. Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN licensure. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills, with a focus on safety and quality care.
