Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a key player in our expanding imaging department. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures, clearly explaining each step to them with sensitivity and care
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to provide images of the highest diagnostic quality
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, swiftly addressing any operational issues
• Document each procedure accurately while preserving patient information within our electronic medical record system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
