Job Description
Our company is currently looking for experience finish carpenter with more than five year experience. Performing task such as interior doors and hardware, casing, crown, baseboard, paneling & ceiling treatments. You must have experience reading and understanding blueprints. Must have reliable transportation and the required tools to perform the work assigned.
Our company oversees projects from Ventura County to the greater Los Angeles area and must be willing to commute.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and drywall components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
- Perform trim carpentry, door hanging, siding installation.
- Handle heavy lifting and operate woodworking machines safely to produce high-quality finished products.
- Maintain a clean and safe construction site by adhering to power tool safety protocols and managing materials efficiently.
Skills
- Extensive experience in residential carpentry, door, trim work, and hardware installation.
- Proficiency in reading construction plans and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy lifting equipment safely.
- Strong knowledge of wood construction materials including siding, drywall, stucco, and other finishing products.
- Ability to perform construction estimating tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent understanding of safety standards related to power tools and construction site protocols.
- Experience with remodeling projects such as flooring installation, mold remediation, door hanging, and general handyman tasks.
