Transportation Manager

Location Highland Springs by Erickson Senior Living, Highland Springs, North Dallas, Texas. Overview Transportation Manager for our gated retirement community, overseeing department operations including staff management, driver training, scheduling, dispatching, vehicle maintenance, and departmental budget and billing. Benefits Medical, dental and vision packages Annual reimbursement for qualified wellness expenses, personal health coaching and telemedicine options PTO plans and company-paid volunteer hours 401k with company 3% match for employees 18 and over Onsite medical centers for wellness visits and sick care 30% discount on food and drinks at on-site dining venues, plus discounted healthy meal options Growth opportunities as the company expands Education assistance, certification reimbursement and access to over 6,000 courses online Responsibilities Oversee hiring, training, and performance reviews of Transportation Department staff, and manage staff transitions Ensure comprehensive training for new drivers in operational and safe driving procedures Develop and maintain up-to-date pricing policies for routine and customized trips Establish driver schedules for off-hours operations and coordinate customized trips upon request Arrange vehicle rotation for preventive and corrective maintenance Manage dispatching operations within the Transportation Department Assess road conditions during inclement weather and decide on modifying or canceling operations and routes Handle billing for transportation services Develop and manage the department's operational budget Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Effective written and verbal communication skills Experience in transportation services; office experience preferred Current and valid Driver’s License Knowledge of state transportation regulations (conforming to applicable state laws) Compensation Commensurate with experience, starting at $67,000 plus eligibility of up to 8% bonus annually.
