Responsibilities Create and prepare all pastryitems as required by the business Prepare, clean and organizeingredients for use in the kitchen Come up with recipe ideas fromscratch Plan the menu of desserts andpastry to complement savory items Ensure the kitchen is clean andsanitized at all times Oversee a team of junior pastrycooks and other staff members as necessary Maintain up to date knowledgeabout pastry arts and ingredients Carry out administrative dutiesto maintain an efficient workspace Qualifications for PastryChef Proven experience working as apastry chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment Able to follow recipes andinstructions accurately Good knowledge of pastry artsand ingredients Confident culinary techniquesand skills Good sense of planning andpreparation for the day ahead Diligent and meticulous inmaking and receiving orders Strong organizational and timemanagement skills Punctual and discipline toensure optimal work performance Physically able to stand forlong hours every day in a hot kitchen #J-18808-Ljbffr
