You will be expected to maintain strict adherence to hospital standards, foster a culture of kindness and excellence, and provide exemplary service to all departments you support. By managing these essential functions, you help make the healing presence of God known in our ministry.To be successful in this role, you must have strong leadership experience in a clinical or hospital setting, a thorough understanding of sterilization processes, and a heartfelt commitment to serving the common good.Required QualificationsAssociate's Degree or equivalent required.At least 3 years of experience to include leadership or supervisor role, preferable in a hospital or medical centerDemonstrated customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills.Additionally, this position requires effective problem-solving and training skills.Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word applicationsPreferred Experience and Knowledge are:Bachelor's Degree and surgical technician and/or surgical supply experience, advanced knowledge of inventory control programs (Windows), Perpetual Automatic Recording (PAR) reduction program, and SSI.For positions in Sterile Processing, certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician through the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management (IAHCSMM), or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Supervisor through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD), is strongly preferred.Virginia Mason Franciscan Health has a rich history of providing exceptional healthcare, dating back to 1891.
