Accounting Coordinator

Description Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented and hotel or hospitality experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting various financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly Maintain Property Cash banks, and Safe and ensure proper protocol is followed in issuance and return of cash banks Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data in accounting software Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis Requirements Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting, finance, hospitality, or a related field preferred but not required Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role in hospitality preferred Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) Understanding of cash handling policies and Cashiering Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Join our team and be part of a company that values growth, innovation, and professional development.
