Operations Supervisor

Location: Jacksonville Metro, FL

Our client is a well-established, family-owned environmental services company seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead daily waste hauling operations throughout the Richmond Metro Area. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily residential and commercial waste hauling operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop drivers and frontline employees.
• Monitor route performance, productivity, safety, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to maximize fleet uptime and minimize downtime.
• Resolve operational issues while maintaining efficient daily operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operations leadership experience within the waste hauling or environmental services industry is required.
• Experience supervising drivers, routes, and daily collection operations.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations, fleet operations, routing, and safety compliance.
• Proven leadership experience coaching and developing frontline employees.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and operational reporting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
