Job Description
Atlas Search is partnering with a global investment manager focused on real assets to hire a Manager, FP&A/Strategic Finance for its Private Real Estate platform. This person is the strategic finance partner to the platform, covering financial modeling, forecasting, capital and liquidity planning, valuation oversight, portfolio analytics, and Board-level reporting for a non-traded REIT and related private real estate vehicles.
You'll work closely with acquisitions, asset management, accounting, investor relations, capital markets, and executive leadership as the platform grows. This is a highly visible seat with direct exposure to senior decision-makers.
Compensation: $110,000 to $140,000
What You'll Do
- Own and improve the portfolio-level financial models behind capital allocation, dividend recommendations, liquidity management, and strategic decisions
- Build and maintain portfolio performance analytics that senior leadership uses to evaluate investment performance, capital deployment, and operating trends
- Develop liquidity forecasts and scenario analyses to support acquisitions, financing decisions, and capital deployment
- Partner with senior leadership on dividend strategy, distribution coverage, and long-term capital planning
- Run the monthly real estate valuation process: oversee third-party valuation firms, analyze valuation drivers, and present key changes and portfolio trends to leadership
- Prepare executive and Board materials on financial performance, liquidity, dividends, acquisitions, and portfolio strategy
- Lead the semi-annual budget and reforecast process
- Organize portfolio-level data so accounting and investment teams can easily access it
- Find opportunities to automate manual workflows, using AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve forecasting and reporting
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience (4–7 years ideal) in one or more of these areas: real estate FP&A, investment analysis, corporate finance, valuation, transaction advisory, real estate private equity, or REITs
- Background from a Big 4 firm, investment manager, REIT, or real estate PE firm
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced financial modeling skills and strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Clear written and verbal communication, including building and delivering presentations to senior audiences
- Process-oriented mindset with experience working in a controlled environment
- Self-starter who works independently, follows through, and is comfortable in a fast-moving setting
Nice to Have
- Argus experience
- Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI/visualization tools
- Experience with non-traded REITs, NAV-based vehicles, or monthly valuation cycles
