Phoenix Labor Group is hiring experienced shipyard, marine, and industrial workers for long-term opportunities throughout Louisiana. Available positions, locations, shifts, pay rates, and project requirements vary.

• Houma, Louisiana
• Lockport, Louisiana
• Thibodaux, Louisiana
• Franklin, Louisiana

Additional Louisiana locations may become available.

Welding and fitting

• Aluminum Pulse Welders
• TIG/Pipe Welders
• Structural Welders
• Stick Welders
• GMAW Welders
• Ship Fitters
• Steel Ship Fitters
• Aluminum Ship Fitters
• Structural Fitting Leaderman
• CuNi Pipefitters

Electrical and mechanical

• 3rd Class Electricians
• Marine Electricians
• Maintenance Electricians
• Electronic Technicians
• Outside Machinists
• System Testers

Support

• Brush and Roll Painters
• Office Cleaners

Minimum requirements

• At least one year of relevant experience for the position selected.
• Shipyard, marine construction, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy-equipment experience is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute or travel to the assigned Louisiana location.
• Must be willing to complete a practical craft test when required.
• Must be willing to complete a drug screening and applicable background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Some projects have additional eligibility or facility-access requirements.
• Must provide a resume showing relevant employment dates, positions, and job duties.
• Must be willing to work the assigned day or night shift.
• Overtime may be available but is not guaranteed.

Pay and schedule

• Pay varies based on position, experience, shift, project, and location.
• Local skilled-trade rates may range approximately from $20 to $29 per hour .
• Per diem is only available to qualifying non-local candidates.
• Work schedules generally range from 40 to 65 hours per week , depending on the project.
• Day and night shifts may be available.
