You will partner with design, NPI, and supply chain teams to ensure robust product quality from development through production while improving design processes and reducing defects.Lead quality initiatives across mechanical subsystems, focusing on design robustness and defect reductionDevelop and maintain standards for design processes, documentation, and verification testingCollaborate with engineering, NPI, and suppliers to ensure quality and manufacturability requirements are metBuild and execute design verification plans, including fixture development and validation testingDrive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions to improve product performance and reliabilitySupport continuous improvement through training, process refinement, and lessons learnedAll About YouWe’re looking for someone who combines strong mechanical fundamentals with a quality-first mindset.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Master’s with relevant experience)5–8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, quality engineering, or product developmentStrong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mechanical design fundamentalsExperience with DFM/DFA principles and design verification testingFamiliarity with root cause analysis methods (8D, 5 Whys, A3) and CAPA processesExperience working in cross-functional product development environmentsStrong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsAdditional StrengthsProficiency with CAD tools (SOLIDWORKS, PDM systems preferred)Familiarity with FEA tools (ANSYS or similar)Ability to drive quality improvements across design and manufacturing workflowsAttention to detail with a structured, process-driven approachPreferredLean Six Sigma certification and FMEA experienceFamiliarity with semiconductor equipment or SEMI standardsWe are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Compensation:The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
