Make a meaningful impact in the classroom by supporting students and educators in a dynamic school environment as a Paraprofessional. This contract opportunity offers a chance to contribute to students’ daily successes while developing your skills in a collaborative educational setting close to Palm Desert, CA.
As a Paraprofessional, you’ll work closely with teachers, helping to implement lesson plans, encourage student engagement, and provide tailored support for individual learning needs. Your ability to build rapport with students and collaborate with faculty will be essential as you contribute to a positive and inclusive school community.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to follow teacher directions and implement instructional strategies
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse learners
- Relevant credentials or completed coursework as required by state or district standards
What You’ll Do:
- Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students
- Help with classroom management and preparation of learning materials
- Support students with special needs by implementing accommodations
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment
- Work as an integral part of the educational team
