Commercial Insurance Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support our growing commercial lines team. This role is responsible for managing client accounts, coordinating with producers and carrier partners, and ensuring accurate and timely servicing of commercial insurance policies.

REMOTE: Must hold active California P&C insurance license. West coast time zone is a must for consideration

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate policy records, endorsements, and account details within agency management systems
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, producers, and carrier underwriters regarding coverage, policy changes, and renewals
• Manage the full marketing and quoting process for new business and renewal accounts
• Gather, organize, and analyze account information to support renewal strategy and placement
• Ensure timely follow-up and consistent communication with clients and carrier representatives
• Support retention efforts by delivering responsive, high-quality client service

Qualifications & Experience

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a commercial lines role within an independent agency or retail brokerage
• Able to manage up to $1.5 Million Revenue book of business
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverages and rating methodologies
• Experience working directly with multiple insurance carriers and underwriters
• Proficiency with online rating platforms and carrier portals
• Experience with agency management systems such as Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
