As an electronics test technician you will perform both automated and manual test procedures on electronic circuits, and draw from a healthy understanding of electronics principals, and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot test failures. Technicians must understand how to use instrumentation and tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers and must be able to read and understand technical documentation such as electrical schematics, and technical drawings. The ideal candidate for this job has excellent attention to detail, enjoys solving challenging technical problems and is able to follow written procedures and abide by their guidelines. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
