Manufacturing Engineer For The F-35 Program

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the F-35 Program. This role is responsible for tooling and factory transition execution for the F-35 FACO, Fabrication, and Finishes (CFF/LFF) build areas. This role may support both domestic and international tooling projects.

Responsibilities include ensuring tools and equipment are specified, scoped and built to meet engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements, developing robust Statements of Work (SOWs) when contracting suppliers to execute work supporting our programs, working with Procurement and suppliers to have the tools & equipment delivered in time to support contract milestones, and engaging with Tool Design, Planning, Procurement, Facilities, ESH, and Tooling/Fabrication suppliers to successfully manage the F-35 tooling & equipment portfolio.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX. Basic qualifications include experience with Catia V5, experience with GD&T Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing practices and principles, demonstrated instances of working in multi-functional teams, demonstrated strong project management skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project. Desired skills include experience with the F-35 production environment, experience with LM tooling processes, procedures and Catia V5, experience developing supplier Statements of Work, persuasive presentation skills, knowledge of aerospace component fabrication & assembly, and effective written and verbal skills.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
