Role Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in senior living settings, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration to ensure safety Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time Monitor symptoms, administer medications for relief, and report adverse reactions Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs), transcribe physician orders, and support care plan updates Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations Qualifications & Skills: Active LPN license in good standing CPR and First Aid certification Strong assessment and documentation skills Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred This role is vital in preventing medication errors, early health issue detection, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence. #J-18808-Ljbffr Live Well Homecare
