Job Duties Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), and warehouse equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues to minimize downtime. Diagnose and repair motors, sensors, photo-eyes, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, dock equipment, and related automation systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, motor control diagrams, and technical documentation. Utilize CMMS software to manage work orders, maintenance records, and spare parts inventory. Support equipment installations, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Follow OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety standards. Mentor junior technicians and support team development (senior-level roles). Requirements 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (higher-level roles require additional experience). Experience with conveyors, automated material handling equipment, or distribution center maintenance. Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills. Technical certification, maintenance apprenticeship, or related degree preferred.
