You'll keep production equipment running safely and efficiently while helping improve reliability across the plant.This is a great role for someone who enjoys: Real troubleshooting (not just swapping parts) Variety — mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, welding A plant that depends on Maintenance and respects the tradeWhat You'll Do (Day-to-Day Work)You'll be hands-on repairing and maintaining industrial equipment, including:Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components (motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, chains, belts, pulleys, rollers, etc.)Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems (cylinders, valves, solenoids, pumps) and build hydraulic hoses as neededPerform welding and fabrication repairs (MIG & stick) in various positionsTroubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, multimeter, and meggerInstall and align new equipment using hoists, jacks, and precision toolsTroubleshoot and support VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley)Test equipment, identify needed parts, complete repairs, and document preventative maintenanceMaintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety proceduresWork at heights and use equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and scissor lifts as neededQualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:2 + years' experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance or relevant field.Proficient with use of power tools, measuring devices, lathe and/or milling machineryPrevious experience using bearing heaters, interference fits, and/or removing gear boxes or seized bearings/shaftsPrevious experience with stick and MIG welding.Will need to fabricate projects as well as make welding repairsProficient Electrical skillsProficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical componentsRead and comprehend schematics and diagrams.Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systemsAble to use multi-meter, megger, and other test equipmentMaintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopesCollaborative; Works in the spirit of partnership.Education and Experience:Electrical certificates or equivalent experience (preferred)Why Techo-Bloc?We take care of our team with strong pay, reliable hours, and real benefits.Weekly Pay Medical / Dental / Vision 401(k) + Company Match Life Insurance + STD + LTD Paid Time Off Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee product discounts Training & Development opportunities Uniforms provided after 3 months Boot reimbursement programAdditional InformationPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
