Courier/DOT

Driver / operator of company vehicles who provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned. The position is full‑time, operating Monday to Friday 6:30 a.m.‑5:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 a.m.‑4:30 p.m. Minimum Education High school diploma or GED. Must hold a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance, as customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Minimum age 21 years. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with safety officials, and respond to official inquiries in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with driver duties and compliance with safety regulations. Desired knowledge of FedEx shipping standards. Pay Starting salary is $24.31 per hour, with a potential range up to $34.39 per hour based on experience, market, and performance.
