About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join a growing technology organization supporting mission-critical solutions used by public-sector and public safety organizations. This role is ideal for a highly organized, relationship-driven recruiting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and understands how to attract and engage technical talent.

The Senior Technical Recruiter will manage key aspects of the recruiting process, from reviewing applicants and coordinating interviews to participating in career fairs and partnering with external recruiting vendors. This person will work closely with hiring managers, candidates, and recruiting partners to ensure an efficient and positive hiring experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate interview scheduling across multiple open technical positions and hiring teams.
• Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on position requirements.
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening as appropriate.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, priorities, and candidate profiles.
• Coordinate interview logistics between candidates, hiring managers, interview panels, and external recruiting partners.
• Work closely with third-party staffing and recruiting vendors to coordinate candidate submissions, interviews, feedback, and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate information throughout the recruiting process.
• Communicate regularly with candidates to provide updates, coordinate next steps, and deliver a positive candidate experience.
• Attend job fairs, career events, university recruiting events, and other talent acquisition activities to build the organization's talent pipeline.
• Develop and maintain relationships with technical candidates and recruiting sources.
• Help identify effective sourcing strategies for technical, engineering, software, IT, cybersecurity, and other hard-to-fill positions.
• Partner with the broader Talent Acquisition team to improve recruiting processes, candidate engagement, and hiring efficiency.
• Track recruiting activity and provide regular updates regarding candidate pipelines and interview activity.
• Ensure recruiting activities are conducted professionally and consistently with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
• Support additional recruiting and talent acquisition initiatives as the organization continues to grow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, with demonstrated experience recruiting for technical positions.
• Experience supporting hiring for software, engineering, IT, cybersecurity, data, or other technical disciplines.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open positions and interview processes simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience coordinating complex interview schedules involving multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with external recruiting agencies, staffing firms, and other talent partners.
• Experience attending job fairs, career events, or other recruiting activities.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruiting-related technology.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a growing team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recruiting experience within a technology, software, government technology, public-sector, or mission-critical environment.
• Experience recruiting for hard-to-fill technical positions.
• Familiarity with government or public-sector hiring environments.
• Experience supporting high-growth organizations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
