Position: Nurse Manager - Med Surg/General Post Op Location: Fort Worth, Texas

As a Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of patient care in our Med Surg/General Post Op unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses and healthcare professionals.
• Oversee patient care plans, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage and allocate resources efficiently to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain a safe and positive work environment for staff and patients.
• Continuously assess and improve departmental processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited professional School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); advanced degree preferred.
• 1+ years of RECENT LEADERSHIP ACUTE CARE experience in the Med-Surg unit. *Would strongly prefer leadership experience in Post-OP, or Ortho. In addition, they would be open to candidates that have PCU, Critical Care, or Rehab leadership experience!! * If Candidates Managed LVN's in their leadership role, it's a plus!
• Current RN licensure by the State of Texas or from a Compact State if you declare the Compact State as your Primary State of Residence.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
• National Certification in area of expertise preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.
• National Certification in area of expertise is preferred.
