Electrician & Plant Maintenance

Job Description Summary Working with electrical subcontractors Assist in plant maintenance and in compiling reports regarding plant repairs and maintenance Help manage electrical projects Diagnose electrical issues Perform industrial electrical upgrades Assist with the management of the ARC Flash program Seasonal position with overtime required during the peak season Work in a safe and professional manner Report any accident or incident to a supervisor Wear proper PPE at all times (Personal Protective Equipment) Follow all company policies along with OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment Travel to other locations as needed Requirements Knowledge of industrial electrical systems Ability to develop relationships and to work both independently as well as in a team environment. Must have a valid driver’s license Demonstrate a willingness to work and communicate well with supervisors and other employees Demonstrate the ability to maintain MSHA, OSHA, and all other company policies or Government state rules and regulations Operate equipment in a safe and professional manner Ability to follow through with efficiency on verbal and written instructionsRegular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required Pre-Employment screens are required before being hired at Callanan Industries Inc Education/Experience High school graduate or equivalent Certification/degree in electrical maintenance Prior experience is preferred Salary and Benefits This position offers a Union rate of $31.94 per hour.
