Exciting Full-Time Physician Assistant Opportunity in Erwin, NC! $7,500 SIGN-ON BONUS! MainStreet Family Care is growing, and we are looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team full time. You will provide patient focused care to help our patients feel better fast. Our services include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be able to lead a small team while working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced urgent care environment. This is an incredible opportunity for PAs early in their career – including brand‑new graduates. Following an on‑site orientation and training, you will have several training shifts with existing providers. We also offer a complimentary pediatric urgent care course and on‑call support to help you grow into the role. Responsibilities Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues Performing minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal Suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations/management Reviewing x‑rays (to be over‑read by a radiologist) Providing general dermatology, eye, and EKG interpretation services Managing emergency situations and general GYN care Treating children of all ages Occupational medicine and telemedicine services Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend: Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON). Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).
