We are looking for a Lead – Financial Crime & Product Compliance for our Fintech hub in Ria!

We are looking for a Lead – Financial Crime & Product Compliance with experience in payments. You will act as a contact point for Product and Business and play a crucial role in the launch of new products, expansion to new regions and collaboration with new partners. This is a broad role where you are expected to take ownership of your work. It consists of mixture of providing regulatory advice, performing hands-on compliance tasks, and working on continuous improvements on our product. You will work in a dynamic, multicultural FinTech environment which will give you numerous opportunities to expand your domestic and international regulatory knowledge and experience. You will report to the Head of Compliance.

Responsibilities 

• Perform Product Risk Assessment for new products, changes in existing products
• Implement compliance requirements across the digital product
• Oversee the implementation of product enhancements related to compliance and perform UAT and Quality Assurance checks where needed.
• Liaise with transaction monitoring team and MLRO´s to ensure effectiveness of current control framework
• Perform root-cause analysis reports on incidents, issues or escalations from the business, product or customers
• Prepare KPI´s and Metrics to monitor compliance which are reported to senior management
• Communication of significant issues to Head of Compliance; make recommendations when weaknesses are identified.
• Become the go-to-person for Business and Product

Experience and Skills  

• Proven ability to perform root-cause analysis on compliance incidents, escalations, and operational issues, and to translate findings into actionable recommendations for senior management.
• Excellent team player who is very comfortable working with employees in other countries as part of a globally distributed team (involving regular daily video calls and messages)
• Great written and verbal communication, organization and time management skills
• Driven, proactive, high-energy, highly visible, and customer centric-focused
• You have demonstrated experience to independently manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, responsibilities, and competing priorities for yourself.
