Medical Office Receptionist (East Valley - Chandler and Gilbert)

Lilac Ob-Gyn, a growing patient-focused OBGYN practice headquartered in Chandler, AZ is seeking an experienced full-time Medical Office Receptionist to work in Chandler or Gilbert. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be reliable, able to multi-task, and, most importantly, greet each patient with a smile. Spanish fluency is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in an Ob/Gyn clinical setting is preferred but not required.

Positive, upbeat personality is a must.

Ability to demonstrate empathy, communicate concern and understanding.

Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational ability are required.

Demonstrated ability to treat all others -- coworkers and patients -- with utmost respect is required.

Ability to maintain composure in confrontational and potentially adversarial situations is required.

Patience with multiple unforeseen changes is required. Candidate must be able to "roll with it" when the unexpected arises.

Knowledge of applicable medical terminology related to women's health.

Ability to work Monday & Wednesday between 7:00am and 6:30pm and Tuesday, Thursday & Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm, and Saturday between 7am and Noon as needed at our Chandler or Gilbert locations.

DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will work up to 40 office hours per week Monday through Friday and some Saturdays within the hours listed above. Some overtime may be required to meet the demands of the job, but we do not expect overtime as a routine matter.

The Receptionist will be expected to work semi-autonomously to handle all issues related to his/her job function. Those who like to "own" their job responsibilities with minimal management oversight will be a good fit for this position.
