Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a high-paced surgical environment.
• Facilitate preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the surgical team for efficient operation room functionality.
• Utilize EMR effectively to maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
• Adhere to established protocols for various surgical specialties such as ENT, urology, and oncology.
• Participate in on-call rotations, supporting weekday and weekend surgery schedules.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required.
• Proficiency in Cerner or similar EMR systems.
• Experience with general surgery procedures and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle inpatient and outpatient pediatric cases with occasional adult cases.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
