Job Summary:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatric (PEDS) care is being recruited for a position in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves working in a busy hospital unit providing respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Richmond, Virginia
• Schedule: Night Shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, current Virginia State License, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, ICU experience, familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records system, ability to work rotating weekends, and availability for one 24-hour shift approximately every 5-6 weeks.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilators, BIPAP/CPAP, blood gas analysis, and positive patient care fit for a fast-paced environment.
• Additional Information: The assignment involves working on a unit with 430 beds and a staff of 25, performing treatments such as nebulizers, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and blood gas sampling. A rotating weekend schedule with on-call duties is required; call is preferable once every 5-6 weeks.
