Outpatient Center

Located 2.5 miles from the main facility, this center provides services for Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy (ST), and Physical Therapy (PT).

• Certifications: BLS, CA OT License

• Outpatient Therapy Aides: 3
• Inpatient Therapy Aides: 5
• Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Outpatient: 1

• Occupational Therapists (OTR) Outpatient: 2
• OTR Inpatient: 2 (includes 1 OT traveler)

Weekend Requirement

Flexibility with shift lengths; 10-hour shifts are available for PT travelers, while OT and ST operate on an 8-hour schedule.

Uniform Requirements

Scrub Color: Burgundy polo or long sleeve shirt with black pants and shoes.

Telemetry & Ventilation

• Telemetry Capacity: 34 beds available for telemetry monitoring.
• Ventilation: Varies, typically 2-4, with the potential for up to 6 patients.

In-House Partners

• Hospitalists, Residents, and Telemedicine Intensivists are present in the ICU.
• RT and Pharmacy services are available 24/7.

Shifts & Orientation

Shifts are typically 8 hours, with 10-hour shifts available for PT travelers. Orientation includes general departmental training with skills checklist and assignment to a clinician.

Patient Population

The position involves working with both inpatient and outpatient populations, encompassing a diverse range of ages from pediatrics to geriatrics with various medical conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary complications.

• JCAHO Certification for Stroke (NIH Certified)
• Programs: Early Mobility Program, Vent Early Mobility Level 2
