Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

*Job Overview*
_We are seeking a compassionate and dependable __*Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)*_ _to join our healthcare team. The CNA will work under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to provide essential care and support to patients or residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times._

* Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting
* Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration
* Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment
* Report changes in patients' condition to nursing staff promptly
* Help with feeding and monitoring nutritional intake
* Maintain patient hygiene and ensure a clean, safe environment
* Support nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation
* Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
* Transport patients to and from appointments or activities
* Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards

*Qualifications *

* High school diploma or GED required
* Current certification as a *Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)* in Virginia
* CPR and First Aid certification required
* Ability to lift, move, and support patients
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor
* Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
