LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Tustin, CA to include, but not limited to Orange and South LA County areas Work Schedule: Able to cover hours that vary Monday – Friday 4:45 am – 6:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed, including some Saturdays Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications: 2 year or more of experience as phlebotomist Current or Prior experience at LabCorp Additional Job Standards: In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency 1 year or more phlebotomist experiences with Geriatrics and Pediatric patients Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Be at least 21 years of age Valid Driver's License and clean driving record Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision At LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Pay Range: $21.00-$33.00 Float Incentive: Additional $1.50/hr plus mileage reimbursement or Plus All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
