Job Description Job Description Lien Negotiator Assistant Job Description Yerushalmi Law Firm is seeking a Lien Negotiator Assistant to support our growing personal injury team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about helping clients maximize their settlement recovery. The Lien Negotiator Assistant will work directly with and assist the Head of the Lien Department in managing all aspects of post-settlement lien resolution, supporting the department to ensure clients receive the best possible outcomes. We are looking for someone who is proactive, efficient, and comfortable handling sensitive client matters with professionalism and care. Responsibilities: Assist the Head of the Lien Department with all lien resolution tasks and provide direct support on client matters. Help serve as a client point of contact once their case has been resolved, answering questions and coordinating next steps. Support in verifying and tracking all outstanding medical liens, bills, and case-related costs. Work with the Head of Department to review outstanding balances and help prepare settlement plans of action for each client. Assist in negotiating lien reductions with providers and third-party payers under supervision. Prepare and maintain client disbursement spreadsheets showing a full breakdown of fees, costs, liens, and net settlement. Support in drafting client final closing documents and disbursement statements. Communicate with providers to confirm updated balances and obtain reductions. Assist in issuing provider payments and client settlement checks. Maintain accurate records and ensure all disbursement documentation is complete. Maintain all updates to a case current on Filevine. Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. Adhere to workplace safety regulations. Adhere to cybersecurity measures to safeguard company information. Qualifications: Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Able to manage multiple deadlines and follow up consistently.
