Maintenance Technician (Robotics, Automation, Warehouse Systems)

In this role, you’ll keep advanced systems running at peak performance:

• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on:
  • Robotic forklifts
  • Conveyor systems
  • Palletizing robotic arms
  • Automated racking systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems
• Monitor automation systems and respond quickly to faults and alerts
• Partner with engineering and remote support teams to resolve complex issues
• Complete maintenance logs, inspections, and system updates
• Support equipment upgrades and new installations
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and drive continuous improvement
• Follow strict safety standards , including lockout/tagout procedures

• Minimal system downtime and high equipment reliability
• Fast, accurate troubleshooting of automation issues
• Strong collaboration with operations and engineering teams
• Safe, efficient operation of advanced warehouse systems

• 1+ year of experience in:
  • Maintenance technician roles
  • Mechanical repair or auto mechanic work
  • Manufacturing or production environments
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Equipment troubleshooting & repair
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting
• Comfortable using computers, HMIs, or mobile devices
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic
• Ability to work:
  • At heights (up to 45 feet)
  • In narrow spaces
  • In temperatures from 32&degree;F to 105&degree;F

• Trade school or technical certification
• Experience with:
  • Robotics or robotic arms
  • Automated warehouses or distribution centers
  • Conveyor or material handling systems
• Familiarity with:
  • Preventive maintenance programs (PMs)
  • CMMS or maintenance tracking systems
• Interest in automation, robotics, and advanced technology

• Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Melrose Park, IL.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
