Location The Grand Bohemian Charlotte, Autograph Collection is an AAA Four Diamond boutique hotel located in Uptown Charlotte. Its central location provides access to nearby landmarks including Truist Field, Romare Bearden Park, and the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The property is also within walking distance of the Charlotte Convention Center and the city’s business district. Guest rooms are designed with Argentinian-inspired elements and include modern amenities. Dining options feature Mico Restaurant and our rooftop bar, Búho Bar, with views of the Uptown skyline. Additional facilities include an art gallery and spaces for socializing or relaxation. The hotel has flexible event venues that can accommodate meetings, weddings, and social functions. Overview Baristas perform several job duties and provide customer service. Baristas take orders and make coffee, tea, and other drinks to customer specifications. Baristas also operate cash registers and credit card machines. Responsibilities Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team. Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a warm and welcoming environment during each shift. Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed Delivers outstanding customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs. Follows Starbucks as well as the property's operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift. Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that associates can locate resources and product as needed. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. Qualifications Physical requirements: Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds Ability to stand during entire shift. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with fellow associates and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. Maintain high standards of personal appearance, uniform and grooming. Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
