The Busser is responsible for maintaining pristine dining spaces, supporting servers throughout service, and ensuring that each guest enjoys a smooth, polished dining experience. This role requires attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Pay: $16.90 / hour

• Provide professional, engaging, and friendly service at all times

• Set up and stock assigned work areas following fine-dining service standards

• Assist servers by inspecting stations for proper set-up and appearance

• Maintain table settings by clearing completed courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling water

• Clear and reset tables within established service timing standards

• Serve coffee, tea, water, bread, butter, and other food and beverage items as needed

• Support servers with all aspects of service while maintaining a clean and organized work area

• Clean service stations, fill ice bins, and restock items according to par levels

• Complete side duties and assist with dining room setup and breakdown

• Retrieve, polish, and store china, silverware, glassware, and stewarding items

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• Minimum of 1-2 years of busser experience, preferably in a fine-dining or upscale restaurant environment

• Strong understanding of dining room operations and service procedures

• Self-motivated with a strong guest-service mindset

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to remain composed and focused in a fast-paced environment

While performing the duties of this role, team members are regularly required to stand for extended periods; bend, twist, kneel, crouch, or stoop; and reach with hands and arms, including overhead. The role involves frequent handling of service equipment and tools and requires lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position operates primarily indoors within the front-of-house and kitchen environments. Team members may be exposed to heat, hot foods, steam, cleaning chemicals, fumes, equipment, and moderate to high noise levels depending on service volume and equipment use. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.
