Position Certified Personal Trainer – Paterson, NJ (Full‑time) Job Summary A certified personal trainer responsible for conducting fitness assessments, developing individualized training plans, educating clients on safe use of gym equipment, and providing outstanding customer service to help clients achieve their fitness goals. Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing fitness assessments. Develop and implement personalized training programs. Educate clients on using gym equipment safely. Maintain a safe training environment and monitor clients for injury prevention. Engage clients with a friendly, encouraging approach and provide exceptional customer service in line with the employer’s mission statement. Track client progress and adjust programs as necessary to meet objectives. Qualifications Certification as a personal trainer (e.g., AAHPER, NASM, ACE). Minimum one year of experience in personal training or related fitness roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage clients from diverse backgrounds.
