Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Job Description Position Overview The firm is seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing Hasbrouck Heights office. This role offers hands-on litigation experience, significant client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced trial attorneys. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of litigation experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage personal injury matters from inception through resolution. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from pre-suit through settlement or trial. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda. Ake and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and case management conferences. Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy and status. Review medical records and coordinate with medical experts. Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings. Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to provide exceptional client representation. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active New Jersey Bar admission required. 2–6 years of litigation experience. Personal injury experience is required (plaintiff or defense backgrounds welcome). Experience handling matters in New Jersey Superior Court. Deposition and courtroom experience preferred. Experience in any personal injury practice area. Workers' Compensation experience is a plus, but not required. Strong third-party personal injury experience preferred.
