This position requires strong organizational skills, diligence, and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality. Your role is integral to maintaining effective communication and coordination within the healthcare team, enhancing patient care delivery and outcomes. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical office administration. Experience Prior experience using computers and computer systems to enter data, or process information. Experience in working with the public; customer service. Preferred Experience: Prior clerical experience working in a healthcare setting. Preferred Other: Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and HIPAA regulations preferred. Why Mercy?
