Senior Acquisition Policy Expert We are seeking a Senior Acquisition Policy Expert to join our team in the Washington, DC Navy Yard area. The ideal candidate will: Assist the Navy to review Annual and Quarterly Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR); Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) Quarterly; Research, Development & Acquisition Information System (RDAIS) Quarterly, Monthly, and Ad‑Hoc Reporting. Apply attention to detail and use subject matter expertise to identify issues and propose resolutions. Required Education, Skills, and Experience Bachelor's degree in management, business, or a technical field. 7 years of related experience in supporting DoD Acquisition legislation, policy and guidance. Demonstrated experience with DoD acquisition systems and reports. Examples include but not limited to Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR), Quarterly and Monthly DAES Reports, and Quarterly and Monthly ASN (RD&A) Dashboard reporting. Strong proficiency in speaking and writing in English. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be a US Citizen. Candidate must hold an active SECRET clearance. Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience 10 years of directly related experience in supporting DoD Acquisition legislation, policy and guidance. Preferred that 5 of 10 years experience include creating or reviewing NAVSEA Acquisition Documentation and briefing material being prepared for Major Decision Reviews and Gate Reviews. DoD/DON procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process), knowledge of Navy Program Executive Office major acquisition programs.
