You will

• Steer production and shipping schedules, aligning people, machines, and materials to meet delivery promises.
• Analyze production and operating reports to remove roadblocks and resolve maintenance issues quickly.
• Plan and coordinate facility maintenance and repairs to protect uptime.
• Audit the floor and equipment to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Energize and motivate the team to hit performance goals.
• Promote corporate policies around safety and Equal Employment Opportunity.
• Lead CNC machining activities so quality, safety, and delivery targets are met for aerospace customers.
• Collaborate with machinists, programmers, quality, and maintenance to optimize utilization, boost efficiency, and cut downtime.
• Monitor metrics, tooling readiness, and workflow execution to maintain consistent precision output.

Your background

• STEM degree and 4 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance supervision preferred.
• Strong CNC machining exposure: processes, tooling, workholding, blueprint interpretation, GD&T, and aerospace quality norms.
• History of leading machining personnel, coordinating schedules, and solving complex production challenges.
• Ability to interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Math strength in algebra and geometry.
• Hands-on problem solver with multiple concrete variables.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Capable of lifting/moving up to 25 lbs routinely; comfortable in a moderate-to-loud environment.
• Culture carrier for safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
