About the Role
The Company is seeking a Division Chief of Genetics for the Division of Pediatric Genetics. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the division, ensuring the delivery of high-quality genetic services to pediatric patients. This role involves managing a team of geneticists and other healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment, and overseeing the educational and training programs within the division. The Division Chief will also be involved in clinical and translational research, as well as in the development and implementation of genetic counseling and testing protocols. Applicants for the Division Chief of Genetics position at the company should have a medical degree with board certification in genetics, as well as a Ph.D. in a related field. A strong background in pediatric genetics and experience in a leadership role within an academic or clinical setting are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in research, a clear vision for the future of the division, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders. A commitment to the advancement of genetic medicine and a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of geneticists are also required.
