Nurse Practitioner; Physician Assistant- Neonatology

Practice Setting NICU Level III (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Shift Full-time position with long hours. Work 7 days, then have 7 days off. Each shift is 12 hours (either during the day or at night). Responsibilities Working in a Level III NICU Handling ventilation (helping babies breathe with machines) Inserting breathing tubes (like ETT) Using non-invasive breathing support (like BiPAP/CPAP) Putting in chest tubes Performing blood transfusions (exchange transfusions) Placing central lines (UAC/UVC) Doing lumbar punctures (LPs) Managing blood pressure and volume issues Inserting central lines and arterial lines Conducting diagnostic or therapeutic taps (checking or treating fluid in the body) Qualifications Must be Board Certified in Neonatology and have experience as a NICU Physician Assistant (PA) This is very important! Must have a valid license to practice in New York This is necessary! Should be experienced and able to work with patients independently This is essential!
