Business Analysis Manager - Global Screening Operations - Vice President

As a Business Analysis Manager – Filter Maintenance within Global Screening Operations (GSO), you will lead the Volume Mitigation Team to perform data gathering, analysis, and testing for hit‑rate mitigation and regulatory screening list updates. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions and help reduce false‑positive volume while maintaining regulatory compliance and mitigating risk. Job responsibilities Develop and implement automation strategies, leveraging systems architecture knowledge to optimize processes and drive efficiency within the department. Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration, working effectively with diverse teams across the organization to align efforts, share knowledge, and drive the successful implementation of business strategies. Utilize strategic thinking to evaluate potential scenarios, assess risks, and make informed decisions that have a direct impact on departmental outcomes. Provide coaching to team members, empowering them to take ownership of their work while ensuring objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Collect and analyze data to identify trends and insights that contribute to hit‑rate mitigation, onboarding fine‑tuning, and regulatory screening list updates. Guide the team to ensure the accuracy, effectiveness, and risk‑averse nature of solutions and exceptions implemented to reduce false hits. Implement strategic measures to prioritize risk reduction, balancing false‑positive mitigation with regulatory compliance. Take ownership of problems and be responsible for finding, understanding, and fixing problems related to hit‑rate mitigation and regulatory screening; ensure accountability and drive solutions from inception to successful implementation. Spearhead enhancements to optimize filter performance, ensuring compliance with both existing and emerging regulations and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement advanced technological solutions, improving data accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall screening effectiveness. Work closely with compliance and risk teams to ensure seamless adoption of new regulatory policies, as needed. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 7+ years of data analysis experience with a focus on uncovering patterns and providing insightful reporting. Proficiency in developing and implementing automation strategies with a strong understanding of systems architecture. Experience coordinating cross‑functional collaboration within a large organization, with advanced strategic thinking skills and a track record of evaluating scenarios, assessing risks, and making informed decisions. Experience providing coaching and delegation to team members, focusing on empowering individuals and ensuring efficient achievement of objectives and quality service. Proven experience in sanctions screening or related field, with a strong understanding of compliance regulations and expertise in using Fircosoft or similar filtering tools. Effective communication, collaboration, project management, presentation skills, and self‑reliance with creative problem‑solving abilities that adapt to changing regulatory environments and business needs. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse groups. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Payments and screening expertise. Regulatory list management and maintenance expertise. AML, OFAC, and compliance advisory experience.
