About The Group

The Group is a multi-concept hospitality company behind some of New York's most beloved French brasseries and dining destinations, including La Grande Boucherie, Boucherie, and Olio e Più. We're opening Boucherie Upper West Side , and we're looking for warm, polished, guest-focused Servers to join our founding front-of-house team.

The Role

As a Server, you'll deliver memorable dining experiences—guiding guests through our food and beverage menus, ensuring accurate and timely service, and helping maintain the ambiance and presentation of the dining room. You'll be the face of our hospitality on every shift.

What You'll Do

• Complete opening and closing side work as directed by management
• Prepare the dining room for service—setting tables with decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, plates, and utensils
• Greet guests promptly and take initial beverage orders
• Guide guests through food and beverage selections, suggest courses and pairings, explain off-menu dishes, and answer preparation questions
• Enter orders into the POS with 100% accuracy
• Handle dietary needs, allergies, and special requests with care, following The Group's procedures
• Communicate with the kitchen to manage course timing and guest feedback
• Resolve guest concerns with a "find a way to say yes" approach, involving the Manager on Duty as needed
• Process payments accurately and complete shift-by-shift financials
• Accurately report tips and contribute to the tip pool as directed
• Maintain expert knowledge of all menu offerings
• Uphold Department of Health sanitation standards and keep work areas clean and organized
• Notify the Manager on Duty immediately of any health or safety concerns
• Participate in staff training and attend mandatory meetings

What You Bring

• 1+ years of experience as a server in a similar-caliber concept
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Basic math skills
• A friendly, helpful, and positive attitude at all times
• Polished, professional presentation
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods
• Comfort performing under pressure while maintaining professionalism
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and a variable schedule based on business needs

Compensation

This is an hourly, tipped position. For tipped employees, base wage will be $11.35 with a $5.65 tip credit applied, if wages earned do not reach minimum wage.
