The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and advice across Tenaris’ business in the United States. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team that supports a broad range of legal matters, including commercial, procurement, labor and employment, regulatory, corporate governance, and litigation.This is a full-time, in-person role based in Houston, Texas.Responsibilities:Provide general advice and legal oversight of Tenaris’s business in the United States by working closely with all business functions and liaising with global legal teams as neededWork directly with senior management, demonstrating sound judgment, clear and professional communication, practicality, and the ability to manage expectationsReview, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and other legal documents with customers, suppliers, and other business partnersProvide timely and responsive client servicePartner with other functions to draft and review company policiesStrategic day-to-day responsibility for the resolution of contractual issues, claims and disputes to support the commercial business while mitigating riskAssist in preparing standard terms and conditionsOversee litigation mattersWork closely with Human Resources on labor and employment mattersOversee corporate governance and implement changes to the corporate structureQualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; admission to the State Bar of Texas preferred, or eligibility and willingness to seek Texas admissionMinimum of 4 years of legal experience at a top-tier law firm or in an in-house legal departmentSkills and Experience:Versatile generalist with experience supporting litigation, transactional, and employment matters, and the willingness to manage a wide variety of legal issues across disciplinesExcellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skillsStrong commercial sense, with practical and proportionate legal adviceAbility to explain technical matters clearly to non-lawyersAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to travel occasionally based on business needsEqual Opportunity Statement: Tenaris is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
