Assistant Coach, Club Rowing

Job Description: The Assistant Coach for Wentworth Club Rowing works with the head coach to supervise and lead the rowing club sport program. Responsibilities Foster skill development and teamwork among students. Promote and uphold institute policies and procedures. Initiate activities in support of the rowing team. Collaborate with the head coach to provide skill and developmental support. Attend all practices and events, including regattas. Minimum Education Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum Knowledge Working knowledge of fundamental concepts of rowing, practices and procedures. Ability to apply knowledge in varied situations. Minimum Qualifications Valid Driver’s License. Ability to trailer boats to events. Level I US Rowing Certification. Boating Safety License. Knowledge of skill development and US Rowing rules and regulations. Ability to work with and develop a variety of experience and skill levels. Attendance at all practices and regattas. Preferred Qualifications Previous coaching experience. Skill development experience. Team building experience. Position Details No H‑1B visa sponsorship. Compensation varies per season; minimum rate $2,500 per season.
