Job Summary

We are seeking a mission-driven, strategic Finance Director to lead our financial operations and champion our fiscal health. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all budgeting and financial reporting while ensuring absolute transparency and regulatory alignment. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, you will translate financial data into actionable strategies that sustain and scale our community impact. If you are a hands-on financial leader who wants to marry technical expertise with deep social purpose, we invite you to help us maximize our resources for the greater good.

The finance director is responsible for the sound fiscal control and management of the Council’s financial stability and operations including financial reporting, investments, annual budgets, audits, and reports. They analyze and generate financial reports and interpret them to management, board of directors, finance committee, and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fund or nonprofit accounting.

• Supervisory experience leading a professional team required.

• Executive team and Board experience preferred.
