Perioperative Inventory Control Coordinator - Full Time - Days - 8hr ICH

Job Summary The Perioperative Inventory Control Coordinator assists the Surgical Services Managers and staff in maintaining clinical supplies, ensuring the availability of all necessary items. This role monitors inventory usage versus budget, establishes supply PAR levels, places orders, and restocks needed supplies. The coordinator acts as a liaison among Purchasing, Receiving, Distribution, Outsourced Inventory suppliers, and patient units, and collaborates with clinical staff and physicians as a key member of the Perioperative team. Accountable for key performance indicators that assess inventory performance, including inventory turnover, stock‑outs, service levels, inventory accuracy, and obsolete inventory. Responsibilities Assist Surgical Services Managers and staff in maintaining clinical supplies. Monitor inventory usage compared to budget. Establish supply PAR levels and order/replenish needed supplies. Act as liaison among Purchasing, Receiving, Distribution, Outsourced Inventory suppliers, and patient units. Collaborate with clinical staff and physicians as key member of the Perioperative team. Account for inventory performance indicators such as turnover, stock‑outs, service levels, accuracy, and obsolete inventory. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Knowledge of basic Materials Management principles preferred. At least 2 years of Healthcare supply chain and/or Surgical experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. BLS certification required. Pay Pay Range: $28.14 - $42.21 #J-18808-Ljbffr
