L4 Validation Technician
Rancho Cordova, California
Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm
Hourly Pay: $31.00/hr W2
Benefits (medical, dental, vision) + paid holidays & vacation

Job Overview:

• 70% primary job duties: Execute technical test procedure and results with platform knowledge and connectivity.
• 30% daily for electronics/debug/Python.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• Understand about server platforms: BIOS settings, boot process, hot plug support.
• Understand about connector form factors: AIC/CEM (Add-In Card/Card Electromechanical), U.2, EDSFF (Enterprise and Datacenter SSD Form Factor), and MCIO (Mini Cool Edge IO).
• Software application installation and execution: UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter), PCLMT, Eye Capture, Command Line parameters.
• Efficiency in data collection, compilation, and reporting.
• Experience reading logs, including Linux dmesg (display message), UART logs, and application execution logs.

Preferred Skills/Nice to have:

• Basic understanding about electronics: Voltage, Timing, Clock path, Data lane paths.
• Test equipment knowledge: Scope, BERT, Switch, Cabling.
• Python scripting.
• AI scripting.
• Software compile/build process.
• Source code repository.
