Maintenance Mechanic

Under the general direction of the Consolidated Headquarters Complex (CHQC) Operations Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic is performs miscellaneous skilled maintenance, alteration, inspection and repair work of buildings and mechanical systems and other related work at CHQC including, but not limited to, responding to services requests, performing minor building construction and repair work, monitoring contracted work on building systems, tracking records and inventories, and attending job specific trainings

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) hours each month. The position may qualify for additional pay incentives.
Employees in classifications with the CBIDs identified above shall be eligible to accrue the Workforce Stability Stipend of $100 for each qualifying pay period worked in a Bargaining Unit (BU) 12 classification.
