Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapeutic interventions that help residents improve function, independence, and quality of life.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational TherapistFollow physician orders and individualized treatment plansDocument daily treatment notes, progress notes, and other required therapy recordsMonitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy teamAssist with discharge planning and caregiver educationTrain restorative aides and collaborate with nursing staff as neededParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planningMaintain therapy equipment and treatment areasReport equipment issues and safety concerns promptlyEnsure compliance with state practice acts, facility policies, and regulatory requirementsProvide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and team membersQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programCurrent South Carolina COTA license in good standingMust maintain all required continuing education requirementsExperience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferredExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferredStrong communication, documentation, and organizational skillsWhat Makes You a Great FitCompassionate and resident-focusedStrong clinical and interpersonal skillsDependable and flexibleTeam-oriented with a positive attitudePassionate about helping residents achieve their highest level of independenceApply today and join a therapy team that is dedicated to helping residents live more independently while working in a supportive and rewarding environment.We are an equal opportunity employer.
